About The Position

The Associate Client Service Manager (ACSM) is responsible for delivering exceptional domestic and international relocation services to corporate and government clients' relocating employees. This role ensures services are administered according to policy and company procedures, while also identifying opportunities to meet employee needs, referring additional services, and cross-selling. The ACSM manages a caseload primarily focused on selective assistance relocation programs for private sector corporate and government clients, both domestically and globally. Key skills for success include managing timelines, effective communication, prioritization, and attention to detail. The role requires initiative in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and a commitment to continuous learning and process improvement. The ACSM must deliver customer-focused service, exceed client expectations, and drive revenue for RELO Direct®.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience counseling to all levels of employees on relocation or related policies and benefits.
  • 2+ years counseling specifically to corporate and government domestic and international relocation policies, exhibiting comprehensive knowledge.
  • Direct client and supplier interaction on service exceptions and relocation statuses.
  • Demonstrated multitasking, prioritization, analytical thinking, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication skills.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail while coordinating complex multifaceted processes with speed and efficiency.
  • A track record of exceeding customer service expectations.
  • Must pass government security clearance.
  • Ability to maintain or re-obtain government security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • CRP and/or GMS certification.
  • Real estate experience, knowledge, or exposure, such as an accredited broker license.
  • Previously obtained security clearance (including ‘Top Secret’).

Responsibilities

  • Proactively coordinate associated tasks in the execution of authorized services, including policy and entitlements counseling, compensation and expense management, destination services, household goods move management, temporary housing, property management, immigration, rental assistance, marketing assistance, home sale services, and/or international assignment services.
  • Perform policy and entitlements counseling, including needs assessment, cost estimation, budget creation, and funding requests, within policy, program, and regulation parameters.
  • Audit relocation expenses against policy, program, budget, and regulations such as Federal Travel Regulations and Joint Travel Regulations. Counsel transferees on expense submission, review, and tax assistance benefits.
  • Act as primary client contact and deliver consultative solutions that achieve service and cost objectives, including budget formulation, funding requirements, and approvals.
  • Possess a strong background and experience in corporate and government domestic and international relocation elements, acting as a 'utility' team player.
  • Have working knowledge and experience in placing referrals within supplier and preferred networks, identifying needs beyond employee-sponsored benefits to maximize offerings, and upselling preferred services.
  • Continuously maintain up-to-date records in computer system(s) with a focus on timeliness, accuracy, and data integrity. Protect PII and secure information.
  • Provide mentorship and training to other employees, as directed.
  • Participate in client and business development meetings and presentations.
  • Achieve key performance metrics and influence teammates to achieve total company results.
  • Use firsthand customer information and feedback for improvements in process, product, or services, including ongoing SWOT analysis relative to the role.
  • Continuously build knowledge and skills to improve performance and enhance value.
  • Communicate orally and in written form with clarity and good effect, understand instructions quickly, and practice judgment on important information, communication methods, recipients, and timing.
  • Support RELO Direct in strategic customer relationship development by sharing expertise, leveraging resources, and anticipating needs.
