About The Position

The Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor plays a key role in providing the residents, staff and public with a safe, sanitary, comfortable and homelike environment by planning, organizing, and directing the housekeeping and laundry staff operations in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence).
  • One year of experience in an institutional housekeeping department.
  • High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors, teaches, mentors and supervises housekeeping and laundry aides on a daily basis.
  • Plans, organizes, and directs the housekeeping and laundry staff operations in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Ensures a safe, sanitary, comfortable and homelike environment for residents, staff, and the public.
