About The Position

Requirements

• Prior experience in maintenance, facilities, or a skilled trade (carpentry, painting, plumbing, or similar)
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, drywall repair, and painting techniques
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
• Comfortable using common hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Good communication skills and a professional, respectful manner
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, kneeling, climbing ladders, etc.)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, if applicable

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repairs, including drywall patching, painting, and touch up work
• Complete basic carpentry and framing tasks
• Repair and maintain flooring, including tile, vinyl, and carpet
• Perform basic plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaky faucets, clearing clogged drains, addressing running toilets, and replacing minor fixtures
• Handle general building upkeep, including light fixtures, doors, hardware, and minor equipment repairs
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize repairs based on urgency and safety
• Conduct routine inspections to catch maintenance needs before they become larger issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work and storage area
• Keep basic records of repairs completed and materials used
• Communicate clearly with staff and leadership about maintenance needs and repair status
