About The Position

The Maintenance Tech I is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment, conducting preventive maintenance, and other duties assigned. This role requires the ability to set up every production line and adjust all filling, labeling, and coding machines.

Requirements

• Must display some aptitude with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment.
• Knows how to safely use hand tools.
• Highly motivated, results-oriented, driven.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to use a computer.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted.
• Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including snowblowers, lawnmowers, and small hand tools.
• Able to work well with Supervision, carry out assigned tasks.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures.
• High school diploma required.

Nice To Haves

• Some technical school training in mechanics or electrical work beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventive Maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Safely use hand tools.
• Adhere to lockout tag-out procedures.
• Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting repairs as necessary.
• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.
• Perform other maintenance duties as requested.
• Quickly set up all machines, adjust fills, program coders, and label machines.
