The Maintenance Manager is not only a manager of people and resources but also a critical safeguard for the Flood Control District’s operational capacity, ensuring public safety and the reliable functioning of the infrastructure the community depends on. This leadership role directly supervises two O&M Supervisors and 60+ indirect reports across four reporting locations. This position manages and oversees essential maintenance functions and staff, including a fabrication and equipment repair shop, heavy equipment operations, vector control support, field maintenance operations, and flood emergency response. Beyond internal operations, the role is responsible for collaborating between County departments to ensure that work is performed to the highest standards and that program goals are accomplished accurately and responsibly.
