Responsibilities

  • Setting up, operating, and optimizing precision machining equipment while producing high-quality components that meet engineering and customer specifications.
  • Working with CNC Lathes, CNC Mills, Horizontal Boring Bars, and Manual machining equipment.
  • Machine setup and changeovers
  • Blueprint and GD&T interpretation
  • Selecting tooling and fixtures
  • Setting feeds, speeds, and offsets
  • Performing quality inspections
  • Troubleshooting machining issues
  • Optimizing cycle times
  • Producing precision parts within tight tolerances
  • Maintaining a safe and organized workspace
