About The Position

As a Machinist - Level 2 at Honeywell, you will contribute to manufacturing precision aerospace components, helping ensure product quality, safety, and performance. You will support efficient manufacturing operations and production targets while maintaining high quality standards. The role is based onsite in Urbana, Ohio, and reports to the Production Supervisor.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in machining or a related field.
Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and techniques.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience with precision measuring tools and equipment.
Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status under asylum or refugee due to U.S. export control laws.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
Experience in aerospace manufacturing is preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
