About The Position

Operate CNC machines and other equipment safely and efficiently to clean and prepare castings according to the OMS/process sheet, and inspect castings. This position is for the 2nd shift.

Requirements

• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Must be able to stand, bend, twist, kneel, and walk for 10 or more hours.
• Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in an extremely hot environment.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Must pass a respirator fit test and comply with requirements when working in regulated areas.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One to two years of manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and correctly operate CNC machines.
• Perform work according to specific job work instructions.
• Identify casting defects accurately to determine whether a part is acceptable.
• Correct defects to ensure compliance with the standard.
• Use tools, gauges, and instruments accurately.
• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.
