About The Position

The CNC Machinist will join the Short Run team on the second shift, scheduled from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The role involves setting up and operating CNC machines, including lathe, mill, and machining center setups, while troubleshooting machine and quality issues and interpreting blueprints. The position also includes coordination with Quality and Engineering, production data documentation, and machine maintenance and housekeeping. Requirements

At least 3 years of CNC setup experience.
Confidence troubleshooting machine and quality issues.
Confidence interpreting blueprints.
Knowledge and experience setting up lathes, mills, and machining centers.

Responsibilities

Set up jobs from start to finish.
Communicate with Quality and Engineering to support efficient and proper production runs.
Operate CNC machines between setup tasks.
Meet or exceed efficiency and production rate requirements.
Maintain machine mechanical integrity through maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
Collect and document data.
