About The Position
Responsible for the efficient operation of the machine to produce parts in accordance to customer drawings, internal sketches and/or other forms of instructions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
- Basic math skills
- Ability to use and read a tape measure
Responsibilities
- Capable to set and operate programs and machinery
- Must be able to follow instructions and able to read production tickets
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to perform visual inspection utilizing measuring tapes
- Ensure correct material is prepared for scheduled orders according to work order information
- Obtain knowledge of door styles, sizes, tolerances and conversion from millimeters to inches
- Attention to detail
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
- Supports Safety and good housekeeping in maintaining a safe work place environment
- Performs other related duties as required
