About The Position

Oil States is hiring an entry-level Machine Operator I in Lampasas, Texas. The position prepares and operates automatic press machines to process and produce high-quality rubber products. The operator ensures production materials are available, loads and removes molds and parts, inspects products, cleans equipment, records production data, and changes molds as needed. The role may require overtime to continue production and may involve operating a forklift.

Requirements

• Follow written and verbal instructions and procedures.
• Basic comprehension of written and verbal communication.
• Basic mathematics skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Follow safe work practices.
• Ability to work overtime if needed to continue production on any shift.
• Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including regular lifting up to 50 pounds and working in temperatures over 100 degrees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all materials needed for production are available.
• Load hot molds with rubber and put the molds in the press.
• Remove parts from molds.
• Inspect parts.
• Clean molds and equipment.
• Record time and temperature data.
• Change molds when necessary.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
• Operate a forklift.
• Effectively run one line with multiple presses.
