About The Position

As part of the production team, the Machine Operator ensures that machines filling products run smoothly. The role reports to the Shift Supervisor and involves operating equipment, troubleshooting minor issues, and assisting with tasks along the production line. The position is described as a weekend 12-hour night shift, with starting pay of $21. Employees receive four paid days off, prorated based on start date, recognition and rewards for perfect attendance, and opportunities to advance and earn more based on skills.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or currently working toward one.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and regularly handle materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Good eyesight, including color and depth perception.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
Ability to understand instructions and write clearly when needed.
Willingness to wear personal protective equipment and follow safety rules.
Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.

Nice To Haves

Experience with bottling, packaging, or filling machines; training is available for candidates without this experience.
Additional training or certification.

Responsibilities

Operate machines and meet the necessary skill levels.
Follow quality and safety requirements, including wearing appropriate PPE and hair nets in designated areas.
Switch machines for different products and troubleshoot minor problems.
Track downtime and report quality issues.
Follow the production schedule and quality control guidelines.
Work with the team to keep the production line running.
Keep machines in good condition.
