CNC Machine Operator - Weekend Nights Shift

About The Position

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components, and assemblies for commercial, defense, and general aviation customers. The CNC Machine Operator produces machined parts by operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines, including lathes, mills, and/or EDM equipment. The position is on the weekend night shift: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM. Employees work 36 hours and receive a 4-hour bonus, totaling 40 hours, and a 35% shift differential. The role supports production of precision aerospace components and requires meeting customer quality and production expectations.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Working knowledge of CNC machine equipment, tooling, and processes.
Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity.
Ability to work in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Post-secondary CNC education.

Responsibilities

Load parts and operate machines, including lathes, mills, and/or EDM equipment.
Ensure continuous production of parts that meet customer expectations.
Make minor edits to CNC programs and replace tooling as needed.
Inspect completed parts using micrometers, indicators, calipers, comparators, and related equipment.
Maintain quality standards by understanding and following the Quality Management System.
Monitor and document operational and performance issues and provide feedback to the supervisor.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, the supervisor, and other staff.
Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
