CNC Machine Operator - Weekend Nights Shift

About The Position

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components, and assemblies for commercial, defense, and general aviation OEMs. The CNC Machine Operator produces machined parts by operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines. This position works the weekend night shift on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The schedule is 36 working hours with a four-hour bonus, totaling 40 hours, and includes a 35% shift differential. The role contributes to production of precision aerospace components and is expected to help meet customer expectations and production deadlines. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Working knowledge of CNC machine equipment, tooling, and processes.
Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity.
Ability to work in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Post-secondary CNC education.

Responsibilities

Load parts and operate lathes, mills, and/or EDM machines.
Ensure continuous production of parts that meet customer expectations.
Perform minor edits to CNC programs and replace tooling as needed.
Inspect completed parts using measuring instruments such as micrometers, indicators, calipers, and comparators.
Maintain quality standards by understanding the Quality Management System.
Monitor and document operational and performance issues and provide feedback to the supervisor.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, the supervisor, and other staff.
Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
