About The Position
The Linen Attendant maintains an inventory of clean linen to meet the facility’s daily needs and ensures timely delivery in accordance with infection control guidelines. The role supports a quality experience for patients and their families, staff, and others who use the facility. Duties include accurate and prompt linen distribution using a computerized linen management system, receiving clean linen deliveries from the laundry, loading and unloading scrub areas, and performing other assigned duties.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year of linen distribution experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an inventory of clean linen to meet the facility’s daily needs.
- Ensure linen is delivered in a timely manner and in accordance with infection control guidelines.
- Distribute linen promptly and accurately using a computerized linen management system.
- Receive clean linen deliveries from the laundry.
- Load and unload scrub areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
