About The Position
The Maintenance Technician performs daily preventive maintenance on equipment under the direction of Maintenance. Tasks include oil and liner changes; cleaning by vacuuming, scraping, and grinding; cathode changes and rebuilds; 5S activities; and filter changes. The position is subject to a 30-day review. The role is listed for the 2nd or 3rd shift and reports to Chris Young.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Mechanical experience.
Nice To Haves
- Pass a mechanical aptitude test.
- Good communication skills.
- Preventive maintenance experience.
- VTI experience.
- Electrical experience.
- Molding or coating experience.
- PLC or robotic programming experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Change oil and liners.
- Clean equipment by vacuuming, scraping, and grinding.
- Perform cathode changes and rebuilds.
- Carry out 5S activities.
- Change filters.
