About The Position

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Paycom, including configuration, administration, or end-user support across Finance and/or HR modules.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes such as GL, AP/AR, budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write and interpret queries for data analysis, validation, and reporting purposes.
• Experience supporting enterprise system programs within Finance and/or HR functional areas.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with data management methodologies, data mapping, and ETL concepts.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, or similar).
• Understanding of HR processes such as employee lifecycle, benefits administration, and workforce management.
• Prior experience in multi-entity or multi-department organizations undergoing systems improvements.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Finance, Human Resources, Accounting, or related field.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or PRINCE2 certification.
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) – IIBA.
• Certified Lean or Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher).
• CPA or accounting coursework a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance and HR leadership to gather, document, and validate business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and system configurations.
• Facilitate process harmonization across departments to reduce customization and increase standardization.
• Support platform evaluation activities including vendor demonstrations, fit-gap analysis, and requirements validation sessions.
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure system configuration aligns with business objectives.
• Lead data cleansing, mapping, reconciliation, and master data governance activities across Finance and HR data sets.
• Work with subject-matter experts to define data standards, naming conventions, and governance policies.
• Perform data quality audits and coordinate remediation efforts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Support data validation and reconciliation activities tied to system go-lives and platform updates.
• Design, develop, and deliver training materials including user guides, quick-reference cards, video walkthroughs, and instructor-led content tailored to Finance and HR end users.
• Conduct training sessions — both in-person and virtual — for users at all levels, from individual contributors to department managers.
• Serve as a trusted system resource for end users, building confidence and driving adoption of enterprise platforms.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships across Finance, HR, Payroll, and IT to ensure technology initiatives align with business objectives.
• Synthesize input from diverse stakeholder groups to drive consensus on process standardization and configuration decisions.
• Prepare and present status updates, findings, and recommendations to leadership, translating technical concepts into business-friendly language.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles, document defects and feedback, and track resolution through to closure.
