About The Position

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Must adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies
• May occasionally be required to lift/carry up to 50lbs
• Must be willing and able to complete work cycles in less than 20 seconds
• Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals
• Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods up to 12 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting
• Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours
• Must be willing and able to work in a wet environment
• Must be willing and able to complete cycles in less than 10 seconds

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and removing Gambrels that are not in good repair for quality and safety reasons
• Monitoring production lines and making decisions of when to start/stop the process to keep both timed to maintain line efficiency
• Loading carcass onto Gambrels at desired line speed
• Setting up area with all needed equipment
• Monitoring production area for trash and food debris on floor
• Performing various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent
• Cleaning up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas
