About The Position
Valero Terrestrial d/b/a Brooke County Landfill is a locally owned and operated private family-owned company that has been experiencing record growth and success. In 1964, it started with one truck. We have grown into one of the largest, most successful fully integrated solid waste companies serving the mid-Atlantic area. Our Brooke County Landfill is a state-of-the-art disposal site that uses the latest environmental protective technology. It features double synthetic liners, modern leachate collection and treatment systems, environmental monitoring systems and on-site management by the industry's top engineers. Our Brooke County Landfill, located in Colliers, WV, is currently searching for a Laborer due to growth!
Requirements
- A comfort level working in all-weather outdoors and ability to work indoors
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- The ability to work every other Saturday (required) and overtime
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be organized and motivated to succeed with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Responsibilities
- Light cleaning duties inside office buildings
- Maintain landscaping onsite including, but not limited to, mowing, weed-whacking, mulching
- Assist with onsite operations as needed when instructed by supervisor
- Keep the onsite roads/surrounding area litter free
