About The Position

Requirements

• Ability to connect with students.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of office equipment, technology, and software such as Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• Ability to exercise reasonable judgment and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to travel to various locations.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Special Education, General Education or a related field is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience working with students is preferred.
• Working towards ABA, BIS, or RBT Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and care to students.
• Intervene with students’ behavioral and emotional concerns.
• Support students using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Support students in improving their communication skills, social skills, school readiness and self-management skills.
• Implement specialized behavior techniques and behavioral strategies under the guidance of the supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with students’ families, teachers, and other professionals.
• Maintain records and documentation of student progress.
• Adhere to prescribed behavioral plans.
• Attend required training and staff meetings.
