About The Position

SharkNinja’s AI/Sharks program is an immersive early-career co-op focused on applying AI and analytics to real business problems. During this five-and-a-half-month experience, co-ops work on live projects, build production-ready AI solutions, and contribute to initiatives supporting the company’s broader AI transformation strategy. They are embedded in projects from the first week, with ownership of deliverables and direct collaboration with technical and business leaders. The role is part of SharkNinja’s Jailbreak AI initiative and offers exposure to enterprise AI deployments and company-wide innovation efforts. Co-ops partner with teams across the business to turn data into actionable insights and support better decision-making. They have access to tools including Claude Enterprise and a personal AWS sandbox, and participate in Early Edge mentorship, networking, and professional development. The program concludes with an opportunity to present contributions and learnings to SharkNinja leaders. Participants earn an AI/Sharks AI Certification based on work delivered, and top performers may have pathways to return offers or full-time opportunities. The co-op runs from January through June 2027 and is full-time, 40 hours per week, with at least three onsite days weekly in Needham, Massachusetts; Bay Harbor Islands, Miami, Florida; or the Flatiron District, New York, New York. No relocation or housing assistance is provided.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program, or graduated within the past year.
  • Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week, and onsite at least three days per week in Needham, MA; Miami, FL; or New York, NY.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar tools through coursework or projects.
  • Demonstrated experience building with AI, such as LLMs, automation workflows, agent frameworks, or prompt engineering, with examples to discuss.
  • Experience working with real-world or messy datasets.
  • Ability to approach problems in a structured and logical way.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to deliver effective presentations to all levels of management.
  • Ability to develop strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Bring rigor to data preparation, model assumptions, and analytical outputs.
  • Demonstrate a quick-progress, adaptable approach to delivering results.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end scoping, analysis, and delivery of a defined business problem, from data gathering through communicating insights.
  • Design, iterate, and document AI prompts and workflows, and take ownership of data preparation pipelines for assigned projects.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, or models used by internal teams, taking accountability for quality and accuracy.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights in datasets and translate them into actionable recommendations.
  • Use AI tools to improve efficiency and automate analytical workflows.
  • Develop and test agentic workflow prototypes that reduce manual effort in high-friction business processes.
  • Present findings and recommendations directly to team leads and business stakeholders.
  • Identify data gaps or inconsistencies and propose solutions.
