This is a paid internship program supporting the agency’s Human Resources team, with a primary focus on conducting a comprehensive job classification and position description audit. This internship offers hands-on experience with a Florida public sector agency, providing exposure to classification standards, merit principles, and public-sector HR practices. In addition to audit-related work, the intern will assist with various HR projects and administrative support functions as needed. The intern will review and analyze job classifications and position descriptions for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with classification guidelines, collaborate with HR staff to gather job-related information, and assist in documenting recommended updates or corrections. The role may also include supporting recruitment activities, data organization, policy research, HR reporting, training preparation, and other projects as needed.
