About The Position

WICB is seeking a Music Director for the 2026-2027 academic year. Requirements

  • Comfortable communicating with music promoters, bands, and labels to ensure delivery and receipt of new music to the station
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong communicator both in-person and via email
  • Able to attend weekly WICB Executive Staff meetings and General Staff meetings (Wednesdays at 6:30-7 p.m.)
  • Been a member of WICB for at least one semester
  • A collaborative team player

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with music promoters, bands, and labels to ensure delivery and receipt of new music to the station
  • Lead weekly listening committee to help select new music added to our modern rock rotation
  • Attend weekly WICB Executive Staff meetings and General Staff meetings (Wednesdays at 6:30-7 p.m.)
