About The Position

At CVS Health, Graduate Pharmacy Interns support retail pharmacy teams while developing the skills and knowledge needed for a Pharmacist role. Interns apply pharmacy-school learning to real-world practice and, under the direction of a preceptor and District Leader, complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation. Training covers store, district, and regional operations, patient safety and error prevention, quality assurance and drug utilization review, and professional standards such as corresponding responsibility and red-flag detection. Interns help pharmacy operations run smoothly and ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. They learn to follow standard operating procedures, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe and inclusive team culture. As their tenure and readiness increase, they take on greater accountability for pharmacy management, oversight, and operations. Duties and services are performed within applicable laws and regulations, under required supervision, and subject to state requirements and training. The role requires regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends, and flexibility to support business needs, potentially by working at other stores in the market. This posting identifies the position as part-time. The pay range is $23.75–$42.00. The position is eligible, depending on hours worked and eligibility, for benefits and programs including dental and vision benefits, wellness resources, employee discounts, certain voluntary benefits, and other programs.
