Pharmacy Intern - Grad

CVS Health
•$28 - $42•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health Graduate Pharmacy Interns apply their pharmacy-school learning in real-world practice to prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under the direction of a preceptor and District Leader, interns complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation, building knowledge of store, district, and regional operations. Training and hands-on experience focus on patient safety and error prevention, quality assurance and drug utilization review, professional standards such as corresponding responsibility and red-flag detection, and consistent use of standard operating procedures and best practices. Interns support pharmacy operations so prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately and patients receive caring service. With increasing tenure and readiness, they take on greater accountability for pharmacy management, oversight, and operations. Duties are performed under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist where required and are subject to applicable laws and regulations. Where permitted and appropriately trained, interns may also support immunizations and other patient health care services. This is a part-time position. The typical pay range is $28.00–$42.00. The position is eligible, depending on hours worked and eligibility, for dental and vision benefits, wellness resources, employee discounts, access to certain voluntary benefits, and other programs.
