About The Position
The Inspector Packer I is a long-term temporary seasonal position with no set end date. The role helps ensure finished products meet quality standards by inspecting products and packages, conducting scheduled quality checks, and operating machinery according to standard operating procedures. The position also involves preparing shipping boxes and moving packaged products to a stacking area. Available shifts are 7 a.m.–5 p.m. and 7 p.m.–5 a.m. Pay is $20 per hour, with an additional $2 per hour shift differential for overnight shifts. Requirements
- Ability to meet safety and quality standards.
- Ability to observe, follow, understand, and evaluate demonstrated processes and other workplace procedures.
- Minimum proficiency in English to support effective new-hire training and ongoing communications about safety and quality issues.
Responsibilities
- Inspect finished products and verify package counts.
- Tape boxes and manually transfer products to the stacking area.
- Assemble flat cardboard into boxes for shipping products.
- Perform quality checks at scheduled intervals.
- Start and stop machinery according to standard operating procedures.
