About The Position
ATI Specialty Materials is actively hiring skilled maintenance professionals from across the U.S. to join our growing team in Monroe, NC—just outside vibrant Charlotte. If you're an experienced Maintenance Technician, Industrial Mechanic, Millwright, or Electro-Mechanical Tech, this is your chance to build your career with a global leader in specialty metals manufacturing. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates. As a Maintenance Associate, you’ll help keep our advanced manufacturing operations running efficiently by diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical systems. You'll work hands-on in a dynamic production environment supporting critical industries like aerospace, energy, and defense.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of trade school OR industrial maintenance experience
- Solid understanding of power transmission, fluid power, and electrical systems
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts (day/night rotation or fixed shifts available)
Nice To Haves
- Background in metals, aerospace, or heavy industrial manufacturing preferred
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns across plant equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Install and maintain 3-phase motor controls, AC/DC circuits, and basic relay logic
- Support fabrication work, including cutting, welding, and layout planning
