About The Position

Requirements

• Prior mechanical, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or related technical experience preferred
• Technical training or maintenance certification is considered an asset
• Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and mechanical systems
• Ability to safely operate standard hand and power tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance activities, including lubrication, oil changes, filter replacement, and routine equipment inspections
• Maintain and service vacuum dryers and associated mechanical systems
• Identify and report equipment deficiencies or potential mechanical failures
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and participate in root cause failure analysis
• Identify and repair vacuum and air leaks as needed
• Perform product changeovers in accordance with confined space procedures and company safety policies
• Maintain accurate maintenance and service documentation
• Ensure work areas are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition
• Utilize hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner
• Adhere to all company safety standards, including PPE, confined space, lockout/tagout, and electrical safety procedures
• Support overall plant maintenance and operational objectives as assigned
