About The Position

We are seeking a Game Math Developer who blends strong mathematical expertise with solid software engineering skills. You will own the math development lifecycle — writing production-level code, fine-tuning game mechanics, and prototyping new concepts. Working closely with Product Owners and developers, you’ll help turn bold ideas into high-performing, player-focused slot games.

Requirements

  • University degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • At least 4 years commercial experience as a game mathematician (or similar position) in online gambling
  • Strong coding skills in Python (OOP)
  • Proven experience working with production code (not just internal analytical scripts)
  • Strong understanding of unit testing and code coverage
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail and math model troubleshooting
  • Deep knowledge and passion for the iGaming market, understanding popular slot mechanics and player behavior
  • Strong communication and soft skills: ability to clearly explain complex math concepts to non-math team members (QA, Front-End Developers, Producers)
  • Open-mindedness, team-player attitude, and stress tolerance
  • Experience with Git or other Version Control Systems
  • Upper-Intermediate or Advanced English ( B2+ ), both written and spoken (ability to communicate with internal stakeholders and investors)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in developing client-server applications (e.g., Flask)
  • Experience in cross-functional squads working closely with Producers, QA, and Front-End teams
  • Strong mathematical intuition, creativity, and drive to innovate within slot mechanics
  • Self-organization, ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload independently
  • Candidates with extensive experience in Java or C# who are willing to quickly transition to Python are also welcome

Responsibilities

  • Develop, simulate, and fine-tune engaging game math and mechanics in close collaboration with Product Owners/Producers
  • Write clean, maintainable Python code for game modules, cheats, and underlying game models
  • Be involved in the full game creation process from initial concept to release
  • Perform simulation runs to ensure game performance aligns with desired outcomes and portfolio standards
  • Provide competitive game math analysis and stay up to date with top-performing games and industry trends
  • Rapidly prototype new game mechanics to prove concepts
  • Collaborate daily with QA, Front-End, and backend development teams, providing clear math specifications and support
  • Act as a constructive sparring partner within the team to continuously improve product quality

  • A nice bonus system as a cool addition to your salary
  • Unlimited vacation and sick leave
