About The Position

Requirements

• At least 1.5 years of florist experience focused on executing floral designs.
• Knowledge of and ability to work with live floral product.
• Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to climb a ladder up to 8 feet.
• Availability to work up to 24 hours per week, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, across 3–4 shifts per week.
• Availability to work during Vacation Blackout Policy dates.

• Prior retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by answering questions, locating merchandise, and recommending products to support a pleasant and efficient customer experience.
• Speak knowledgeably and confidently about the brand, its history, products, and cross-channel offerings.
• Prepare and assemble floral arrangements and bouquets according to Bouqs design specifications, using flowers, foliage, and plants.
• Inspect floral elements for freshness, quality, and compliance with Bouqs standards.
• Maintain store visual standards and arrange products according to visual guidelines.
• Facilitate sales and capture client information in the POS system, including cross-channel sales such as bridal and events.
• Manage daily inventory, including receiving live shipments and processing out product as needed.
• Participate in scheduled inventory tasks, including store-wide physical inventory counts.
• Communicate internal and client feedback to corporate management.
• Assist with off-site events when needed.
