About The Position

As a Florist at The Bouqs, you will help create floral bouquets and arrangements that meet the brand’s design standards and partner needs. The role combines floral preparation and arrangement with customer service, sales, inventory, and store presentation. The Florist reports to the Store Manager and may report indirectly to the Retail Corporate Team when necessary. Duties and responsibilities may change based on store needs and production requirements.

Requirements

At least 1.5 years of florist experience focused on executing floral designs.
Knowledge of and ability to work with live floral product.
Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds.
Ability to climb a ladder up to 8 feet.
Availability to work up to 24 hours per week, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, across 3–4 shifts per week.
Availability to work during Vacation Blackout Policy dates.

Responsibilities

Assist customers by answering questions, locating merchandise, and recommending products to support a pleasant and efficient customer experience.
Speak knowledgeably and confidently about the brand, its history, products, and cross-channel offerings.
Prepare and assemble floral arrangements and bouquets according to Bouqs design specifications, using flowers, foliage, and plants.
Inspect floral elements for freshness, quality, and compliance with Bouqs standards.
Maintain store visual standards and arrange products according to visual guidelines.
Facilitate sales and capture client information in the POS system, including cross-channel sales such as bridal and events.
Manage daily inventory, including receiving live shipments and processing out product as needed.
Participate in scheduled inventory tasks, including store-wide physical inventory counts.
Communicate internal and client feedback to corporate management.
Assist with off-site events when needed.
