About The Position

The Trash Technician collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials while following established safety procedures. The position also performs assigned cleaning functions, operates designated cleaning equipment, and identifies and responds appropriately to safety hazards. Other duties may be assigned.

This is a part-time position at 550 Oak Ridge Road, Hazleton, Pennsylvania. The schedule is 30 hours per week, with days and hours that may vary. The fixed pay rate is $16.00 per hour. Experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Physical ability to walk, stand, and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
