About The Position

Requirements

• Meet the accelerated training requirement during the first seven days of employment.
• Attend training from 11/11 to 11/25; Saturday attendance is required during the first week of employment.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Have reliable transportation to mandatory training.
• Have a satisfactory driving record meeting company vehicle driving requirements, verified through a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.
• Hold an approved Traffic Control Flagging Certification, such as ATSSA or a state certificate.
• Commit to safety, teamwork, and reliability.
• Obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6 inches in height.
• Use approved two-way radios.

Nice To Haves

• Prior flagging experience is highly coveted.
• Physical endurance to stand for 8–12 hours, walk 1–2 miles per day, lift up to 30–50 pounds, and work outdoors in various conditions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain safe, compliant work zones.
• Control traffic flow and ensure public safety.
• Support crew leaders with setup, client communication, and field reporting.
• Mentor new crew members and help drive site efficiency.
