About The Position

As a Protector, you work with a team at job sites to help manage traffic safely. No experience or degree is needed; training and support are provided. Safety is the top priority. The role involves working outdoors throughout the year in all weather, and shifts may change based on job needs. Some nights, weekends, or emergency work may be required. Employees may stand or walk for 8 to 12 hours per shift. The company provides a hard hat, safety goggles, safety vest, safety whistle, walkie-talkie, and hot- and cold-weather gear. Employees must provide their own steel-toe safety boots that extend above the ankle. Pay is $16.50–$17.25 per hour, with overtime available and pay increases during the first year. Requirements

Valid driver’s license.
Able to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods.
Able to lift 40–50 pounds.
Willingness to work in traffic and changing weather.
Flexible schedule and ability to arrive on time for every shift.
Must pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test.
Stay alert around moving traffic and follow all safety rules.
Treat coworkers, clients, and the public with respect.
Must provide steel-toe safety boots that extend above the ankle.

Responsibilities

Set up and take down cones, signs, and barricades.
Use a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic and monitor traffic and job-site activity.
Follow safety rules taught in training.
Communicate with the crew and supervisor.
Help keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe.
