About The Position

Requirements

• Requires a BS degree or equivalent experience plus 4 – 7 years of experience or equivalent relevant experience.
• Exposure to the printed circuit board and semiconductor packaging industries
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time; both domestic and internationally

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities including customer demonstrations, material evaluation, on-site installation, servicing and repair of complex equipment and systems for all products and markets.
• Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
• Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment.
• Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.
• Serves as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
• Travel away from workplace may be up to 75%.
• When not traveling may be called upon to participate in 24/7 phone support.
• May be assigned to specific customer accounts as the primary technical support contact.
• Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
• Devises new approaches to problems encountered.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.
