About The Position

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a Family Medicine Physician to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Waterloo, Iowa! This role performs primary care to the community, providing a mix of well visits, acute care, and chronic disease management throughout the age spectrum. A community health center (FQHC) is the largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations. With an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of residency program
  • Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Iowa

Responsibilities

  • Perform primary care to the community
  • Provide a mix of well visits, acute care, and chronic disease management throughout the age spectrum
