About The Position
FLINT is seeking experienced Dozer Operators for permanent positions in Fort McMurray, AB, starting immediately. This role involves shaping the landscape for Canada's energy future, focusing on precision grading and slope cutting. Operators will work on a 6/6 rotation schedule with daily bussing provided from Fort McMurray. The position is local, ideally suited for Fort McMurray residents. Overtime is eligible after 8 hours per day or 44 hours per week starting September 1, 2026. Requirements
- A minimum of 2000+ hours of experience operating a D8+ dozer.
- Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements: CSO (Common Safety Orientation from Energy Safety Canada).
- Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
- Able to provide a clean 3-year drivers abstract with under 9 demerits.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
- Must be able to complete drug and alcohol testing due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position.
Nice To Haves
- Open pit mining experience is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Operate a dozer with precision for grading and slope cutting.
- Perform groundwork in the tailings area of the mine.
- Contribute to building Canada's energy infrastructure.
