About The Position

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator for its Streetman, Texas plant. The role operates mining equipment in an open-pit production environment, loads product and overburden, and helps ensure safe, efficient operations. The operator follows industry and MSHA safety requirements, inspects, cleans, and maintains equipment, records production information, and coordinates with other departments. Work may take place in varied weather and environmental conditions, including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty conditions.

Requirements

2–3 years of loader experience.
General understanding of good manufacturing practices, including machine setup and startup, and ability to identify and resolve basic processing issues.
Ability to properly use hand tools.
Basic math skills and ability to use a calculator.
Pass drug and physical testing and a background check.
Ability to perform the described physical activities, including lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling weights up to 75 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of blending, fluid bed dryer operation, sieving, and granulation processes.
MSHA training; training will be provided upon hire.

Responsibilities

Comply with industry safety rules, procedures, applicable government regulations, and MSHA guidelines.
Inspect equipment and observe production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Operate mining equipment efficiently in all weather conditions in a mining production environment.
Load product and overburden in an open-pit mine.
Attend scheduled departmental and safety meetings.
Clean and maintain equipment, and complete work maintenance orders.
Accurately record operational and production data.
Collect and test samples of materials or products to confirm they meet specifications.
Transfer materials, supplies, and product between work areas.
Communicate and work with other departments.
Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
