About The Position

EXP is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer for its Mission Critical team, based in the Sandy Springs office in Atlanta, Georgia. The position involves leading the production of construction documents from initial design through bidding, overseeing project production teams, and coordinating electrical work with other disciplines. The engineer is expected to deliver projects within established budgets and schedules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
  • At least 7 years of experience.
  • EIT status and on track to become a Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Strong AutoCAD experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • Revit experience.
  • Mission Critical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead production of construction documents from initial design to bidding, under the supervision of a senior engineer.
  • Set up drawings and prepare design documentation.
  • Oversee production teams on specific projects.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams on electrically focused projects.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines on projects.
  • Complete projects within established budgets and schedules.
