About The Position

The Sr. Cloud Engineer builds containerized applications and secure cloud solutions using AWS and related technologies. The role contributes to self-service solutions for development teams and uses CI/CD tools to implement pipelines. The engineer works with technical and non-technical stakeholders, contributes to team success, solves difficult technical problems, and looks for opportunities to innovate while understanding internal and external customer needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or equivalent experience is preferred.
• At least 5 years of working knowledge in cloud and related technologies.
• Experience with AWS services.
• Expertise building containerized applications using Golang.
• Skills in Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and pipeline implementation.
• Experience building secure cloud solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of how to build self-service solutions for development teams.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Java and NodeJS.
• Experience in retail financial markets or another highly regulated industry.
