About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in California.
• Five years of experience in residential land development and/or road and utility design.
• Experience with stormwater and sanitary sewer design, grading plans, and site development in Northern California.
• Experience mentoring engineers and design technicians.
• Previous experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Plan projects, provide design guidance, and manage technical delivery of civil engineering projects, primarily in residential and commercial land development.
• Communicate with clients about current projects and collaborate with project managers and the business development team to position the firm to win future work.
• Direct and support technical staff in delivering projects.
• Assist project managers with preparing and managing project scope, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Support business development efforts and cultivate strong client relationships.
• Mentor junior engineers and design technicians.
