About The Position

Requirements

• Master’s degree and licensure as an LPC, LISW, LPCC, IMFT, or LSW.
• At least six months of counseling experience providing therapy through an internship or other field experience.
• Strong ethical decision-making skills and the ability to think critically and use problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and insurability under agency policy.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet client needs, including early evenings several nights per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family counseling in clients’ homes and in the community.
• Conduct mental health assessments and evaluations to establish appropriate treatment goals and objectives.
• Provide early childhood prevention and treatment services in childcare centers, schools, and offices.
• Plan, implement, and regularly modify treatment plans to help clients meet individualized goals.
• Use symptom screeners and functional outcomes to determine ongoing medical necessity.
• Maintain regular contact with parents and guardians, and collaborate with client collaterals such as teachers, probation officers, and protective services when necessary.
• Identify client needs and make referrals to internal and external resources.
• Provide mental health assessments, individual, family, and group counseling, CPST, TBS, and crisis intervention.
