About The Position
This position is for a Medical Director of Occupational Health & Preventive Medicine at ProHealth Care, a healthcare organization with nearly 5,000 employees. Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Unrestricted physician license.
- DEA registration (if applicable).
- Eligibility for medical staff membership and credentialing.
- Medical Review Officer (MRO) Certification (required upon hire or within an established timeframe).
Nice To Haves
- Family Medicine or Internal Medicine background preferred.
- Prior experience in Occupational Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Employer Health, Population Health, Virtual Care, or related physician leadership roles.
- Board Certification in Occupational Medicine.
- Master of Public Health (MPH).
- Board Certification in Family Medicine.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
- Experience with DOT medical examinations and employer health programs.
