Manager, Product Management- Financial Core Enterprise Platform

About The Position

The Enterprise Financial Ledger platform is key to powering existing and new Financial Products at Capital One. As a Product Manager of the platform, you will work on the strategy and execution of the System of Record functionality for Financial Accounts and Transactions; and help manage the relationships and needs of our key business stakeholders who will onboard onto the platform. The ideal candidate is someone who is excited about solving some of the thorniest problems on Financial Accounts, comfortable dealing with ambiguity and enjoys figuring out the optimal platform answers with our Tech Partners that solve business needs and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
- A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
Nice To Haves
- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
Responsibilities
- Create a long-term roadmap that supports a broader enterprise vision and industry trends
- Engage Lines of Business (LOBs) to define, prioritize and build reusable capabilities to support multiple Financial Products across the company
- Partner closely with Tech to ensure that the platform architecture can support the value drivers of the modernization business cases
- Collaborate with Program to create and maintain well-defined and sustainable communication channels with our LOB partners
- Ensure the platform is accurate and performant
- Develop and align on the platform’s data posture
- Drive tooling to improve reconciliation
