The supervisor will determine staffing requirements, schedule courier services, adjust schedules for workflow, evaluate productivity, and implement process improvement plans to reduce costs. They will also coordinate staff training, assist in developing and implementing logistics policies and procedures, and serve as a technical resource for customers. Ensuring quality measures, regulatory compliance, and meeting daily operational goals for courier and dispatch activities are key. The role involves developing monthly reports, conducting staff meetings, participating in projects and committees, and maintaining knowledge of integrated computer systems related to logistics. The supervisor will also provide input on route design and resource allocation, and perform human resources responsibilities for their staff, including performance reviews and recommendations for hiring and terminations. Adherence to the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct is mandatory.
