This position serves as a Child Protection Team Supervisor and a working supervisor. The role involves establishing and implementing a team-based program of staff development and training for subordinate staff. It also requires establishing and maintaining effective linkages with community organizations, including hospitals, law enforcement, schools, and social service agencies, to enhance child welfare and protective services through operational partnerships. The supervisor will explain and enforce agency policies, procedures, state and area statutes, and requirements. Additionally, the role serves as a liaison with intact/prevention staff and permanency staff to coordinate and facilitate efficient and effective case handoff and client services, and provides input into quality assurance activities.
