Under the direction and supervision of the Residential/Employment Coordinator, the Direct Support Professional performs and assists people with basic living and employment skills as specified in plans. This role involves assisting individuals with personal cares, maintaining a clean and safe living/working environment, and managing schedules. The position also requires providing transportation, reporting any instances of abuse, neglect, or exploitation, and working collaboratively as part of a team. Maintaining confidentiality of all individuals receiving services and their health information is paramount. Additionally, the role may involve assisting individuals with finances, budgeting, and documenting purchases, as well as collecting data to monitor progress towards personal objectives. All other duties as assigned are also part of the role.
