Requirements

Must be at least 20 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to pass: State and Federal criminal background checks, Drug screening, Pre-employment physical and PPD.

Nice To Haves

Further education in Human Services, Psychology, Education, Nursing, Social Work, or a related field.
Previous experience providing direct support, caregiving, or similar services.
CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance when needed.
Support daily living skills and independence.
Assist individuals with community outings, appointments, recreational activities, and social opportunities.
Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support.
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming residential environment.
Implement individualized support plans and goals.
Promote dignity, respect, choice, and person-centered services.
Support individuals in developing confidence, skills, and greater independence.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the highest quality of care.
