About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active State Dental Assisting License, if applicable.
• Radiography certification, if applicable.
• At least 2 years of hands-on dental assisting experience.
• Current OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training.
• Positive, energetic, can-do attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Open Dental.
• Experience with Nomad and digital scanning.
• Certifications in Coronal Polishing and Nitrous Oxide monitoring.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
• Take digital X-rays and images.
• Provide patients with attentive, empathetic care and a positive experience.
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records and charts.
• Protect patient confidentiality.
• Follow OSHA and Bloodborne Pathogen guidelines.
• Support hygienists and other team members as needed.
