About The Position

Northwest Dental Specialists is seeking a compassionate and skilled Periodontal Dental Assistant to support providers during treatment, provide outstanding patient care, and contribute to the efficiency of the practice. The role is full-time, scheduled four days a week, and requires current Sedation and Phlebotomy certifications. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current Sedation Certification.
Current Phlebotomy Certification.
Dental assisting experience.

Responsibilities

Provide chair-side clinical support to doctors, including assisting, charting, patient education, and operatory setup and cleanup.
Deliver a superior patient experience throughout each appointment.
Take dental X-rays.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories.
Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Follow infection-control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and comply with workplace regulations.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
